Time for some new motion design inspiration for Week 02 January from some really cool projects. A mix of beautiful motion design, meticulously created title design that hopefully will inspire you while tackling your next project. All of which have been collected on Pinterest.

“Nature is ever at work building and pulling down, creating and destroying, keeping everything whirling and flowing, allowing no rest but in rhythmical motion, chasing everything in endless song out of one beautiful form into another.” John Muir.
Dark and vivid with a pulsing electronic soundtrack, this work was initially inspired by the anatomical drawings of the 19th century marine biologist Ernst Haeckel.
This is a personal project created in my spare time. A journey into the microscopic and the macroscopic; an alien world of creation, destruction and evolution.
This animation was created and rendered in Cinema 4D using both Octane and Arnold render engines. It was then composited in After Effects.
For Approval
his was an experimental film put together simply as an opportunity to have a play in-between projects. After much deliberation we set ourselves a brief to create a collection of scenarios subverting the physical properties of…anything. It made for some interesting comments along the way. “That egg’s not bouncy enough, the cloth coming out of the tap needs to feel more like water, the bowling ball needs to feel heavier as it floats off…”. We suddenly realised we were playing our own client (hence the in-joke above)
We’ve started lots of these projects over the years. This rare creature is one that’s finally found its way out of the studio. And no, it wasn’t at all annoying to see this peach vimeo.com/191444383 appear on Vimeo half way through the process. ◔_◔

Personal project I made while thinking what is like living with artificial intelligence.
In the future where artificial intelligence gains consciousness. Will they have the ability to consider that humans are a threat to their existence?
